There are five regional food banks in Louisiana:
Monroe, Shreveport, Alexandria, Baton Rouge, and New Orleans.
We serve the population in the twelve parishes that make up the northeast corner of the state. The total land area is 6,575 square miles, and according to the 2006 population survey census, the total population of Northeast Louisiana was 349,564. Roughly 23.2% of our population are food insecure. If you are food insecure, do not have access to enough food to lead a normal, healthy, productive life, we are here to help you.
